Planning policy framework

Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council (BDBC) is the planning authority for the parish.

Planning applications are assessed against the Local Plan 2011-2029, which forms part of the statutory development plan for the borough.

BDBC have also produced a number of Supplementary Planning Documents and other planning guidance, which support the Local Plan.

Details of all of these can be found on the BDBC website here

https://www.basingstoke.gov.uk/planning-policy-and-local-plan

St Mary Bourne also has planning documents which are relevant just to the parish.  These can be found on the Local Policy Documents and consist of:

The St Mary Bourne Neighbourhood Plan

The St Mary Bourne & Stoke Conservation Area Appraisal

The St Mary Bourne Village Design Statement
