Annual Governance & Accountability

At the end of each financial year the parish council prepares an Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR) which includes an Annual Governance Statement and Accounting Statements.

The latest Annual Governance & Accountability Return is for the year ended 31 March 2023.  The audit is being processed and will be published as soon as it is available.

The AGAR is subject to both an internal audit and an external audit.

The internal auditor is appointed by the parish council.  Our current internal auditor is Do The Numbers Ltd.

The external auditor is appointed by the Smaller Authorities Audit Appointments Ltd and our current external auditor is BDO LLP based in Southampton.
